About

I build software that other people depend on to do their job.

Most of my work lives in the unglamorous middle of a product: the data model that has to stay correct after a bad import, the sync job that runs at 3am, the admin screen someone opens when a customer is on the phone. I care about the parts that decide whether a thing holds up in week fifty, not just week one.

By day I'm a software engineer at OpenTech Alliance, building internal platform tooling on the OpenTech APIs — a property management console and an IoT device-monitoring dashboard used daily by development, QA, and support — along with the embedded firmware and integration scripts that feed them.

Outside of that I run Kingpost Software, where I've shipped two products end to end: ManaArchive, a print-aware inventory and marketplace-sync platform for Magic: The Gathering collectors, and Storatix, a property management system for self-storage operators. Both are in production, and both are mine from schema to deploy.

I work mostly in TypeScript across React and Node, with Postgres or Mongo underneath and whatever infrastructure the problem actually needs. I like owning a feature from the decision record through the deploy.

    Software Engineer — OpenTech Alliance

    Internal platform tooling on the OpenTech APIs — a property management console and an IoT device-monitoring dashboard adopted by development, QA, and support. Also the ESP32 mesh firmware, the Electron provisioning tool, and the integration scripts that connect broker systems to the API.

    Alongside full-time work

    Founder & Engineer — Kingpost Software

    An independent software venture with two products in production: ManaArchive and Storatix. Everything from schema design and billing to deployment, SEO, and the support that follows.
