IoT Device Monitoring Dashboard
Real-time monitoring and analytics for fielded IoT devices, built on the OpenTech APIs and adopted by development, QA, and support.
The problem
Support had no single view of what a customer's devices were doing. Diagnosing a site meant querying several APIs by hand while the customer waited.
What I built
- Aggregated device state across the OpenTech APIs into one dashboard with live status and historical analytics.
- Designed the views around the questions support actually asks first — which devices are offline, since when, and what changed.
- Merged the dashboard into the OpenTech property management console so device state and the property it belongs to live in one place.
Where it landed
- Used daily by development, QA, and support teams as the first stop for device triage.
